Decent morning.  I've determined that there is a definite difference with running in Bamako and running in Conakry.  Conakry is much more humid and I can really feel the difference running.  Yes, I perspiring more and the air is definitely heavier and I can push harder, but don't want to!  It's just too hot!  Anyway, started out intending to do 10 miles and finished with doing 9 miles then discovered that I made a mistake on my watch and actually only did 8 miles unless you figure one could do a mile in 1 minute and 48 seconds.  So, my AP was 10:54

Well, last run for Conakry in this hot and HUMID weather.  I intended to go 12 miles, but stopped after 9 as I couldn't keep my shorts up.  They were so sopping wet from sweat that I got tired of constantly pulling them up!  Next run will be COOL!!!

 Today's AP:  10:45

AAAhhhhhh.....much nicer weather here in Holland!  BUT, I was very tired today from all the work to pack up and leave our house then the all night plane ride, so I really took it easy today.  AP was 11:58 which included to pit stops.

Holland beat Brazil!  Quite a game!

Tomorrow will bit a longer run.

Oh what a beautiful morning....I planned out a route and of course got a bit lost but enjoyed MILES of forest!  Started out this morning around 6am with a temp of 63 and 94% humidity.  I have to say that 63 F in 94% humidity is just NOT the same thing as running in 94% humidity 10 degrees north of the equator with a temperature of 85 degrees.  Not even comparable.  Needless to say I finished the run and the temperature was a mere 67 degrees.  Oh if feels so good!

 AP was 9:55
